An Ode To Nature

An Ode To Nature  Nature is the one thing that will always be there No matter who or what leaves you The water of the river will always flow  And no matter where you go  The snow will always snow Unless you are somewhere where it is to hot  Then you just have to remember that it is snowing somewhere And no matter if everyone hates you Plants don’t have feelings  So they can not hate you  Therefore, you will always have a place in nature For nature will always love you No matter what you dov An ode to those who will always love you An ode to things that have no choice but to love you  An ode to nature

Orchid

It is just another peaceful day during the beginning of Spring for the town of Huckleberry. Marci Flynn, a thirteen year old ray of sunlight, is walking down the street with her pet Baxter, a french bulldog. He is panting against the new found sun, but no one could blame him.  A whistling grandpa aged man walks by them, offering a tip of his hat. It was a friendly town, everyone always saying hi, everyone just about knowing everyone else.  “How do you do?” he asked.  “Just fine, and you?” Marci replied.  “Dandy, thanks for asking,”. They went on their way, minding their own business until Baxter started to bark. It was different, most of the time when he did it was for food, or perhaps his toy. But this time it was frantic. Scared, one could say. “Baxter! Please, quiet down, please!!” She begged. Marci was starting to get looks from the others whos quiet stroll or peaceful shopping trip was interrupted. Baxter kept barking. Panting. Pacing.  That is, until Marci saw

Unwritten Rules (A poem)

On a quiet night  The corn stalks will shiver And even if you aren't there to witness it- The bare facts remain We shall never be the same A poem is not what the writer wants it to be It's how the reader interrupts it;  So even if you don't consider this to be one, Or the one above, It is neither here nor there.  I know how I like it.  It is only yours to roam.  Such as how the explorers ravaged  The land of the natives  When the first arrived.  They either liked it;  Or needed to have control over it.  So take these ideas,  These miss matched words And make another world. One that's yours-  One untold and only for you That is of course unless you choose to share it- Like I have with you.

8 Tips and Tricks for Seaworld Orlando

This week on Monday I got the chance to experience Seaworld Orlando for the first time, and it was awesome. However, I did learn several things, so I shall share them with you so your trip is not as crazy (in a bad way) as ours! Number One:  If you are going in the summer, and have two day or stay long tickets (which we did) I would suggest going to the Summer Nighttime Event, Electic Ocean, the night before your all day trip. The reason why is because you can get a little bit of understanding of the park before you have to hit the ground running the first day, and after a long day in the heat, you will not want to stay to see the fireworks (which are awesome) at 9:30. Trust me, this is what we did, and it totally took a lot of stress off our trip. Number Two: Seaworld, unlike some other parks, allows water bottles (one per person), snack-sized items (unless you have a dietary need, then you can bring what you need), and coolers under a certain inch limit. However, they do ask that

MCMXIV

I saw this poem and thought it was cool! 😀 (anyways...) By Philp Larkin Those long uneven lines Standing as patiently As if they were stretched outside The Oval or Villa Park, The crowns of hats, the sun On moustached  archaic  faces Grinning as if it were all An August Bank Holiday lark; And the shut shops, the  bleached Established names on the sunblinds, The farthings and sovereigns, And dark-clothed children at play Called after kings and queens, The tin advertisements For cocoa and twist, and the pubs Wide open all day; And the countryside not caring: The place-names all hazed over With flowering grasses, and fields Shadowing Domesday lines Under wheat’s restless silence; The differently-dressed servants With tiny rooms in huge houses, The dust behind limousines; Never such innocence, Never before or since, As changed itself to past Without a word – the men Leaving the gardens tidy, The thousands of marriages, Lasting a little while longer

Evermore

Sitting in the back of class An outcast I reminisce about the days untold Truths and lies all in a fold For sitting here Playing with a strand of hair I realize that it's all there The good The bad The honestly sad The past two years have been a bless I wouldn't trade them for anything But now its time to say goodbye And end everything But no- That's not true- I'll still be there cheering for you Through the concerts Through the door I'll be there..
